Laurel Millette is a Trusts & Estates attorney and the Founder of Millette Law, LLC in Concord, Massachusetts. Laurel practices exclusively in the areas of estate planning and trust and estate administration. Prior to moving her practice to Concord, Laurel served as a Shareholder and Director in the T&E practice at Davis, Malm & D'Agostine, P. C. in Boston, Massachusetts and as an associate in the Estate, Financial, and Tax Practice at Bowditch & Dewey.
Since 2003, Laurel has served as a lecturer on estate planning and estate administration, volunteering her expertise on panels for groups such as the Boston Bar Association, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, the Massachusetts Justice Project, The Women's Bar Foundation, The Merrimack Valley Estate Planning Council, and the Friends of Mount Auburn. She has served as a member of the Development Committee and the Gala Committee for St. Boniface Haiti Foundation and serves as a Corporator for Emerson Hospital. Laurel has formerly served as the Chair of the Emerson Hospital Corporator Involvement Committee and as a member of the Emerson Hospital Executive Committee. Laurel also exhibits her commitment to philanthropy through her membership in NEID (New England Donors Association), and as a member of the Professional Advisors Network of The Boston Foundation from 2012-2015, the Co-Chair of the Central Massachusetts Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association from 2007-2010 and as a member of the Council of Visitor's for Mt. Auburn Cemetery from 2011-2014. Laurel has also served on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army and on the Board of Directors of Friendly House, Inc.
Laurel received her J.D. from Boston College Law School and her B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Pomona College. Prior to attending law school, Laurel worked in the Assurance Division of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston and graduated from the Coopers & Lybrand Academy at the Graduate School of Accounting at The University of Texas at Austin.
Every year from 2009-2018 Laurel has been selected for inclusion in SuperLawyers Rising Stars and SuperLawyers Top Women In Law, and in 2013 she was named as an honoree in the MassLawyersWeekly Excellence In the Law Event.
